Founded in 1971, the Institute of Aquaculture is the leading international aquaculture centre and the largest of its kind in the world, working with governments, regulatory bodies, industry, pharmaceutical suppliers, fish farmers and supply chains to tackle global problems of food security, hunger and sustainability through aquaculture. Discussion on the plans for the National Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Hub (NATIH), due to open in 2025.
Associated Seafoods was established in 2010, when it brought together two of the most respected companies within Scotland’s food industry – Lossie Seafoods, a specialist in smoked fish and Moray Seafoods, a leading business in shellfish production.
